I'm still on the fence about this one...it looks great but after the train wreck (& I'm still wanting to hear a definite yes or no about a possible reorder) of Project 365 I'm not sure I'm ready to deal with the customer service
I want to thank KOTM staff for the prompt service. I ordered 3/25/09 and received 3/26/09!! WOW what great service. I appreciate the kits and know the Proj. 365 was just a goof up..every other kit I have ordered has come in great time too...Thank you. It looks like such a fun kit. Sheryl Pyle
Well I totally missed getting The Project 365 kit, so I'd sure love to get my hands on this kit. That clear album has the wheels in my head just a spinning with ideas!
With all the calendar elements in this kit, I think that I would make my very first chronological album and it would be about my life with my husband. I think I would make a bunch of blank pages so that I could keep adding to it and make it a comprehensive album about us!
I do hope that you will offer something similar (maybe the same as a 2nd choice) for next year's 365 kit. I'm so disappointed that I didn't get to be part of that. That said, the april kotm is adorable!!
If I won I would use the book to make a 12 months of a year book. Doing a two page lo on the 7x12 for each month while adding an envelope and maybe some other things like the half pg marker in the middle of each 2 pager. Thanks for the chance to win.
I'd love to win a kit! I think I'd use it similar to a project 365, but I'd make it a project 12 (12 months). I think it would be fun taking highlights of each month and creating 12 very distinctive sections with this kit. I wouldn't probably create it until 2010.
I have a little notebook that I've been using to jot down the funny things my girls say. This kit looks like the perfect place to record and display the quotes. Love the colors. Can't wait to get this kit
I'm sorry for all of the people who had trouble with the 365 kit. I've ordered several KOTM's, including both the school & baby ones, and I've never had problems with ordering, or the kits themselves when they arrived. So I wouldn't hesitate to order this one! It looks great!
Just found out through John that some of the early orders for this kit did not go through, like mine for example. I ordered on March 18. John said they were supposed to put an update on this website.
I am not getting any help from Customer Service; I don't know where else to go, so I am hoping maybe someone who can help will see this here...
I placed an order on January 1st for the Project 365 kit; my order went through and my credit card was charged...and then refunded since my order was on the “backordered” list.
Then, on March 5th, I was sent an email like everyone else with backordered kits notifying me of the shipment and charge to my credit card (which HAS gone through).
Mid-March, when I still had not received my kit, nor did the tracking number I had work, I called Customer Service and spoke with John, who told me that he wasn’t sure how, but that it looked like it had never been sent, so he was going to make sure it was sent out. Soon after, I called again to make sure it had been sent, and John told me I could expect it soon.
Last week, with still no sign of the kit, I called again and spoke to Shenika (?sp), who informed me that it had been sent on the 17th and provided me with a tracking number (which matched the tracking number I was originally given in the order email below). She told me that if I had not receieved the kit by March 30th, to call back. I did that today, and spoke with Shenika again. Today she informed me that there is NO RECORD of my order in the computer at all. She transferred me to an “accounting supervisor” who was not available, who has not called me back.
The Fedex tracking site shows no progress on the shipping other than the shipment information being sent to them.
As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating for me. How is it possible for CK to not have ANY record of this order when I have MANY records of it via email? I have paid for this product; I do not want a charge back on my credit card, I want to receive my kit!!
Sorry this is so long; it's as much a vent as it is a plea for some help.
This feels like project 365 all over again! Can someone say "better business bureau"!!! I won't rehash my personal drama w/ project 365, but in regards to the April kit--- OMG!!! Thought I preordered- only to find out from the blog comments that preorders did not get processed. Customer Service "John" informed me that I should just order online and that there are plenty of kits available. Went on line to order- something was wrong with the site, called "John" back and he supposedly took my order on line, but could not provide me with a tracking number but assured me my kit would be mailed within 5-7 days. I won't hold my breath! I love(loved) CK but, a person can only take so much disappointment from a company! Please get bbbbbit together!!!
Elisa-glad I'm not the only one. I've decided to skip this kit. It's not worth the hassle. I'm just concerned that all of my CC info is floating out there somewhere. You would think they would have learned from the last long fiasco. I can't believe my order was "lost." Forgive and forget...I'm just going to forget it this time.
I ordered my April kit on March 26 and got it yesterday, March 31. I ordered mine online and didnt have any problem at all. Just thought I would write something posative about this kit. It is amazing...I love it...and the other side of the stamp are the days of the week with the months on the other side. Thank you CK for getting back on track and producing an incredible kit.
Another positive here. Ordered it on Wed. March 25, and received it Tue. March 31. I'm in PA. The contents look fabulous. I'm sorry that some of you have experienced problems, and I do hope CK can get it all together so that this doesn't keep happening.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be getting this kit. I placed a pre-order mid-March and was excited to learn that they started shipping late March. I hadn't received any notification about my card being charged and or course, hadn't received it. So, I called to check in and I learned that there was a glitch and that some orders didn't go through.
I asked if they could manually place the order so my information wouldn't get lost in cyberspace again and the lady said the information had been deleted not lost, and that all she would do is order it through the website just the same. She was a bit rude and had a big attitude simply because I was asking questions.
As wonderful as this kit might seem, and as much as I was looking foward to it, I doubt I'll be getting it. I'll probably wait several months until they straighten everything ok and have better customer service.
Can't wait to get one. I'm going elements from the kit to add to regular layouts.
ReplyDeleteThere's a new site to order from??? And no pictures. I just wanted a peek before I bought the kit. Help!
ReplyDeleteI'm still on the fence about this one...it looks great but after the train wreck (& I'm still wanting to hear a definite yes or no about a possible reorder) of Project 365 I'm not sure I'm ready to deal with the customer service

ReplyDeleteJust found out through John that some of the early orders for this kit did not go through, like mine for example. I ordered on March 18. John said they were supposed to put an update on this website.
