ordering concerns

It sounds like some of you have been able to order the kit while some have not been able to get onto the site. No matter what amount of preparation time we put into making the kit process run smoothly, we can't always depend on the technology to be cooperative. It is possible that the amount of people trying to get on all at the same time has affected the website, including the CKMB even. More than likely the kit is still available, it probably hasn't sold out already, so don't give up trying.

Please be patient with us as we work on the purchasing issue that appears to be happening this morning. We do have people working on it right now, so hopefully you'll soon all be able to purchase the kit without any further issues. We apologize for this inconvenience.

We will keep you updated as we know more.

  1. I encourage everyone to keep trying too! I was getting the sold out/error message and I kept trying and I just got through and ordered my kit online.

  2. I have been at my computer for 40+ minutes waiting to order this kit. How can you hype something so much and then not be prepared. It is more then frustraiting and it discourages me from ever ordering things from you in the future. You should be prepared.

  4. I tried for 40 minutes to load the site unsuccessfully. When it finally downloaded, the kit was sold out. I am soooo disappointed. Please tell me you will get more kits SOON!

  6. CK has such a terrible reputation for customer service (read any scrapbook message board to see the history).

    With all the hype ahead of this kit, one would have thought CK would have been technically prepared.

    Don't believe them when they say it isn't possible. I work in the e-commerce industry and it is ABSOLUTELY possible to be prepared for a server load influx.

    The lead us all along with Becky's hype and manipulated the consumer and failed.

    Just another poor CK move. In a poor economy, with LSS and everything else closing right and left, they're setting themselves up for a fall.

  8. I so agree with Christy and feel so bad for Becky. She could have run this ordering process better out of her living room I bet. If I were her I would refuse to do another kit for CK until these issues get resolved. After all, they are in this for a profit right?

  9. Relax! Try again later and if you don't get this kit you can still do the project 365 in your own way. JMHO.

  11. I think they should have done a pre-order on this in December to be ready for the influx of orders. Then people wouldn't have been angry and sitting by their computers trying to get in. They could have shipped orders out at the same time without so many angry customers.

  12. Well, I just ordered mine, but it did it twice. I know I got one order for my kits, but will have to cancel the other one.

  13. Could you please post some info letting us know how we can know if our order went through? For instance, if the confirmation page never completed but I got an email confirming, did it go through. Or if the comfirmation page competered with no confirmation number, did it get ordered. We are getting many different results and we just don't know if our kit was ordered or if we need to keep trying. THANKS!

  14. What a frustrating experience this has been. I will never do this again. I received two confrimation emails from CK, each has a different number. How many did they charge me? I only ordered one (1) kit. It would make good business sense to have done a pre-order sale for this KOTM.

  16. I could never get it to work what a dissapointing way to start off the new year:( I am giving up since it says sold out but, have been trying to add it to my cart all this time. Hope more will be available for those of us who are starting off an unlucky new year!

  17. I know it's rough, but I work in the technology field and this kind of stuff just happens. Technology isn't perfect! I was able to order a kit, now I can't wait for it to come. :)

  18. I just hope there will be more kits coming and it will be fairer on us who don't live in the US. I contemplated getting up at 3am to order this kit, but I am glad I didn't.

  19. Please include a website link for international users - we are severely limited in having to use a phone number. I'm certainly not hanging on for four hoursby phone even though I could barely sleep with the excitement of seeing it ....
