  1. Not good enough. Who is Bill Worner's boss?

  2. The part that I find really frustrating is that I GOT A CONFIRMATION NUMBER. I mean if I missed out I missed out... THAT I could understand. But hours to complete the ordering process added to hours on hold just to be told sorry - no kit for you. And what happened to all those cases where people accidently over-ordered? Are those kits going to people like me who received a confirmation number but still are not getting kits?! And just how many people are infact in that situation? It really is frustrating and unfair.

  3. THIS is what I wanted-someone in management to communicate my frustrations to! Where has HE been hiding out at for the past 5 days?? Shame on him for letting poor Becky take all the heat by herself! SHe was very gracious to at least try to answer our questions and listen to us vent when it wasn't even her problem. Shame, shame, shame!

  4. I sent in my suggestions as to how KOTM's should be handled in the future.

I am really sad that we really haven't heard from Lisa Bearnson about all this....blogging about smoothie recipes while thousands of her LOYAL customers are having all these problems? Shame on her!

  5. There seems to be some difficulty with answer a direct question. My information is that no one was answering the 720 number CK and Becky's Blob posted for the international callers because they were all on holiday. Telling us that some orders were made is not the same as telling us that the phone was manned. Your international customers fill very ripped off and for good reason they are going to be paying telephone charges for an automated system where they had absolutely no change of ordering through. Someone needs to answer the question with a yes or no. and then be able to back that up.

  6. really ... what good is that going to do? He's just a professional pacifist. You only ordered 4,000 kits. I was placed on 'backorder'. I feel ripped off and played with but letting him know that isn't going to change a thing!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Just one question... Will this kit be re-ordered?!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Same question here, will the kit be re-ordered or are those of us that "missed out" due to the internet frenzy be left in the cold? If anyone got more than one kit and wants to sell it to me I'd be very happy to pay the price for the kit as well as shipping to me, simply let me know through my blog http://scrappymommyof3.wordpress.com/ and I'll get back to you ASAP!

  9. ... well, moving on for me. i don't think i want to waste anymore time with the ordering process. i am still moving forward with the 365 project. I was just wondering if the KOTM team will be posting sample work and ideas for pictures? i would love to see some inspiration, please!

  10. Jessica-how did you know that you were placed on backorder and did they tell you when the kit would ship to you?
    thanks

  11. I also am one who thought they were lucky - my order went through with a correct total and a confirmation number, but when I called to check, I was told my money was being refunded and I didn't get a kit! How'd that happen? I'm very disapointed as my order supposedly went through just a few minutes after the kit went on sale.

  12. I just got through on the phone. I was actually only on hold for 8 minutes, granted this is my fourth time trying to call in the past few days. The person that I spoke with was very helpful.
I had received two confirmation numbers on the 1st but then had heard nothing after that. My confirmation email only had the number listed. No product name, no total, nothing. Yesterday, I saw that my credit card was charged, that's what prompted me to try calling again.
When I got through today I gave the woman my confirmation numbers and she put me on hold and checked from me. When she came back she told me that I order was shipped out yesterday and that I could expect to receive it in 2-7 business days. I asked if I could have a confirmation number and she said that they emailed one to me. I explained to her that I have received no emails from them since the first day and then she looked it up and said that they did not have my email address listed. This could explain part of the problem for people. I know that they had my email address to begin with since I got the first confirmation emails (only one of which was actually valid), how did they get "lost" after that? Anyway, she was able to give me the UPS number and I went on line and saw that the package has indeed been shipped and should be arriving at my house on Friday. Not sure it is will all work out as planned, but I at least feel a little better to have gotten some answers.
This whole process has really made me think about the wealth of misinformation that has been given out. First people with $0 amounts had kits, and then they didn't… I'd say don't assume anything until you have a kit show up at your door. But I would check your credit cards... from what I was told, if you were charged then you will be getting a kit...and soon. Hope everyone has a nice Wednesday!

  13. I just want a kit. I sure hope they decide to re-order.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I got 2 kits but it will be the last money CK ever gets from me. I am appalled that you have not addressed the unmanned telephone lines to the international callers. If your rep had not innocently told me about this on Friday, no one would have known, and from your silence now, still would not know. If you will rip off someone else, what makes me think you will treat me any different.

    ReplyDelete
  15. This entire fiasco is completely.beyond.belief.

I'm glad I don't have a kit. Truly. Project 365 is a great idea, but I don't need the CK kit to do the project.

I am DONE with CK in any way, shape or form. I work hard for my money, and I will NOT hand it over to a company that shows such utter disregard for its customers.

For the rest of you who still want a kit, consider this: In the time it takes you to TRY and order one and POSSIBLY receive it, you could make your own.

So long, CK. I can wholeheartedly say that I won't miss you even one tiny bit. I'll also be sure to tell every scrapper that I know about your HORRENDOUS customer service.

  16. Just wondering if there is a plan in the works to get more of these ordered. I spent 2 hours on 2 computers and on the phone and was able to get to the checkout page. I don't think I will be getting one. Please try to do all you can do to get these reordered.

  19. While I appreciate having more information, but I'm still frustrated as things do not add up with all the updates between this site and Becky Higgins' blog. And of course, I'm a bit peeved that I now have a pre-order that would not arrive until around mid-March.

Some would say that I should count my lucky stars that my kits are coming. But that is not the issue for me. The issue here is that I feel deceived on top of everything else that have happened since Jan 1.

When I was told about Project 365, I was under the impression from all the hype and promo that Becky and CK were pushing, that Jan 1 was the live-order day, not PRE-ORDER. I didn't know that I was purchasing inventory that not physically in CK warehouse in the US yet.

What is the true story here? Were there originally 4000 kits ready for ordering? Were there less than 4000 kits physically made it to the US for sale on Jan 1? What is the quantity for the pre-orders now (the balance of the original 4000 or new order)?

I am making a leap to guess that because the system crashed and the orders were all screwed up, CK only knew the ordering log exceed 4000, regardless whether that some orders were just plain wrong in quantity. But there are now orders with confirmation numbers and need to be fulfilled. So the pre-orders are now those have been placed with the manufacture in China.

That's why CK is not going to correct the original orders when they have the wrong quantity. That's why CK is now has a pre-order
list for 6-8 wks delivery. And that's why CK cannot commit to the question if there would be more ordered. Gotta sort out the mess with committed orders first.

  20. I sent Mr Worner an email

I just want them to release the kit again on a preorder basis, like they did with last years BH sell-out kit

  21. Becky has updated her blog about the international callers. There was no one answering that phone that day. Check her blog for details.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Really...Why is it that Becky Higgins can be a stand up gal and let us know that there wasn't ANYONE answering the phones that day, and this blog cannot??? It is not even her responsibility to keep us updated, yet she has enough respect for us to do so. Kudos to Becky and BOOs to KOTM team!

  23. I was just told by customer service that mine will be shipped in 2-3 weeks. Has anyone else recieved this line?

    ReplyDelete
  24. becca-I called yesterday and John the CSR told me the same thing. However, my cc has been charged and I thought you didn't get charged unless your kit is shipped. So, I'm not sure what's up with that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I had the same response. He (phone guy) says I am getting a kit, but that it won't be mailed for 1-2 weeks. I said, so it's not 4-6 weeks and he said no. He also mentioned that 4-6 weeks will probably be a lot longer than that (referring, I think, to people who aren't in their system at all). But this conflicts with the update on the blog which says if you didn't get a tracking code today you won't for 4 to 6 weeks, so I don't know what to believe.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi everyone, Becca, Lisa, Molly,

My credit card got charged (not authorized), and I was told by John the CSR that my kit wont be shipped for another 4-6 weeks. Do you guys really think we will get a kit in 4-6 weeks???? because it seems like they are telling allot of people this? and I was under the understanding that we werent sopposed to be charged till our kit shipped. At this point I want either my money back or a kit. If I get my money back then I figure I can go out and get a binder and page protectors and make my own kit like allot of the people have done on Becky Higgins blog comments. And my other idea is, is that this kit should have gone on sale in December so that we could all start on Jan 1st. Anyway, Thats my two cents!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe that's John standard line...I don't know!! He did tell me that it would not be 4-6 weeks and that it should be sooner than that. All I can say is good luck getting your money back. I'm afraid that you'll end up with no refund and no kit.
We need to keep each other updated!

  28. I was one of the many people on hold last Thursday (not international, just on vacation with no internet). I cannot believe that there was no one manning the telephones. So unbelievable. So utterly unacceptable. I sent Mr Worner a long list of feedback yesterday and now I hear this--I don't have any energy left for this anymore (or any money either once I pay my phone bill). I will have to seriously consider if I continue to support CK.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Okay, so everyone is sharing the love over on Becky's blog since, you know, we "have to get beyond the human error". I sit in total amazement that this whole stinking fiasco is just going to fade away with me still feeling the shaft. I mean SHAFT. So Ms. Higgins says we have to get over it and everyone starts drooling over her like she's a saint? Am I in the Twilight Zone? I still want a freakin' kit, man. Give me a kit and I'll be sharing the love all over the place, too. Please, just get me the kit.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nice that you post an E-mail to address our concerns to, now can we please have the E-mails answered or is there no one answering E-mails as well.

It really stinks that you don't have the decency to post about the international caller fiasco and try and smooth our ruffled feathers.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think it is absolutely disgusting (and some more choice words) that you instruct internationals to call at 9:00am your time. This was not something that we came up with - WE WERE TOLD IT WAS OUR ONLY OPTION TO ORDER A KIT! So, I sit up until 2:00am my time to sit on holdfor over 30 minutes. Politely being told by machine that my call would be answered momentarily. And now it has been confirmed that there was no staff working the phones at all on that day.
I want an explanation as to who specifically and ultimately is responsible for THAT!! Because miscommunication seems like a pretty poor excuse. I think you should know if your own company is on holidays that day. I just don't get how a big company can screw up - again and again and again. And for that fact - how you can stay in business??
And what's even more disgusting is that Becky has to pass on the news - you can't even stand up and admit your faults yourself.
You've lost a customer...which may be no big deal to you...but I'm sure many others feel the same about your less than stellar business practices. You don't deserve a cent.
I feel sorry for those that have ordered and have given you money - and are still getting screwed around.

    ReplyDelete
  32. For those keeping track, I was told the 2-3 weeks timeframe also. I have 2 kits already charged to my credit card. NOT a pending charge, a charge. So much for the "it won't charge until it ships" line.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Does anyone over there know of a lawyer, or have a lawyer in the family? We should be looking at a class action here. They falsely advertised, plain and simple. I absolutely intend to get my money back. I don't care about the kit and would be happy to never ever hear if the CK name again. But they STOLE my money when I spent and hour and a half on the phone on hold to no-one, I intend to get that back.
I am going on holidays tomorrow and I will be chasing this up when I get back.
They should be allowed to get away with this, everything they have touched in regards to this has turned to crap and now they need to stand up and take responsibility, or if they won't willingly do that then they should be made to. I work hard to earn my money and I do not intend to give it away to companies that don't know good business practices.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am so horrified.
So many questions to be answered including - why have we not been informed via the CK blog?
Why has noone answered even one of my emails at CK?
Why will CK not take responsibility and compensate those who have lost out due to their error?
Why don't CK value their customers?
Why have they made this so hard........ getting it wrong at the outset is one thing - this fiasco is something else!
I have made a complaint via the BBB - i believe they will act on my behalf and if lots of you complain via them then hopefully they will take this matter very seriously as CK are giving all American business a bad name.

  36. I left a comment on the billing on Becky's blog to find out why we are being charged for something that hasn't shipped yet since she seems to be the only one giving us staight forward answers. I appreciate her "going to bat" for us. However it feels like we're only in the 2nd inning in a double header.

I'm really disappointed in CK and the way that they are treating their customers. Is this company "recession" proof that our money doesn't mean anything to them? I'm really thinking about renewing my magazine sub. I got the renewal, but I just might have to pass.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's amazing that the company responsible for all the errors has to hide behind Becky. Apparently those who made the error can't stand up & take responsibility. All the answers should be here - not on Becky's blog. In my eyes, CK is a sinking ship... I hope Becky makes it out on a life raft.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Re the lawsuit post here…

Even though we, the customers, knew that we had to place our orders on Jan 1st, 9 a.m. MST before the kit runs out, CK did not specify that on their website. We assumed we should place our orders at that moment because it was a hot item. It was the choice of callers to hold. It is true that we were all under the impression that their phones were manned that day. It may have been IMPLIED, yes, but not stated directly.

The blurb on CK’s website that day was: “Please note: If you are ordering internationally, you cannot order via the web. You must place your order via phone. Order your kit by calling 720.374.3628.”

Nowhere on that does it say you must call on Jan 1 at 9 a.m.

I am, of course, sympathetic to the international (and some domestic) callers who spent hours on hold with nothing to show for it but upcoming mega phone bills. If I were in their place, I would be hopping mad as well. Unfortunately, one cannot make the argument that CK falsely advertised because they did not.

Before anyone bashes me for this, pls note that I am neither associated with CK nor am I a friend or family member of any CK employee. I am only one of the many angry customers. One of the ways we can help ourselves is to keep a level head and only deal with the facts.

    ReplyDelete
  39. If people are going to start discussing legal issues, don't be surprised to see this blog "disappear"---the web site just opened with arrival of this kit and is CK's worst enemy right now in regard to bad press (and for good reason). Those interested in keeping in contact for legal purposes or otherwise, I strongly suggest someone to post a link now to a place to reconvene. Maybe a new yahoogroup or something? I don't know but just a suggestion because I'd hate to see this website die and all the "mess" go back to Becky's blog due to no other place to discuss the issues. OR to have everyone lose track of each other completely.

(BTW, Becky's site DID indeed say the kits go on sale at 9 am and provided the number to call. The fact that there was no message on the phone line saying they were on holiday is HUGE. It's a fine line, I suppose, but that REALLY is false advertising.)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just went back and looked at my December CC statement. I ordered the Little Stories kit on the 7th or 8th went it went on sale (it wasn't for sale on the first), my cc was charged on the 11th and I didn't receive that kit until either December 23 or 24.
So I guess that kinda makes sense that some of us, including myself, were charged and won't receive our kits for another 2-3 weeks. They should just tell you that and drop the line that you'll be charged when the kit ships because that's not always the case.

Hey guess what? I feel like this is totally out of our control and nobody has the answers to our questions. I'm only printing my pictures through snapfish once a month anyway, so hopefully by February, I'll have my kit and my pics will be in my mailbox.

  42. Lisa, I just noticed that you addressed me directly ...
I received a confirmation email (again) on Monday and was very excited so decided not to call because I knew they'd be swamped and I thought that the confirmation email was for real. My credit card was also charged the correct amount.
However, after reading more, I decided to call on Tuesday morning. Shay, my CSR, told me that my order was considered a 'back order' and that it would be shipped in 6 weeks. She said my order HAD been placed, but they didn't have one to send me. My original order confirmation was sent 34 minutes after the kits went on sale.
I asked her if they would really have more in 6 weeks and she said that they had been ordered and that I should get it in 6 weeks. I asked about the charge to my credit card. She said that they knew it was a problem and their IT people were working on refunding the wrong charges. Now, I didn't give her a hard time because it was pretty obvious that she didn't have more information and what was I really going to accomplish by ranting to her?
I emailed CK on Monday and again on Tuesday after the call. I wanted to know the truth behind my status. I wanted to know if they really thought it would be 6 weeks despite the conflicting information about how long it takes China to produce the kits.
I have not received a return email. I am very disappointed because I've tried to be as nice as possible. Yes, I think they handled this horribly, but I'm a polite person. I just want the truth and a return of common courtesy.

    So ... that's what happened.

Oh, and I know that I could easily make my own kit. I'm clever and I know exactly where to get the products and which ones I would get. However, it was the pre-done part that appealed to me in the first place. Plus, if I'm on pre-order, I don't really feel like calling and telling them to cancel. If I just hadn't got one plain and simple, I would happily make my own. I want something for all my trouble now.

Oh, and my credit card still has a charge from CK.

    ~Jessica

    ReplyDelete
  43. thanks Jessica..I was nice to my CSR John too. I mean the customer service people aren't in control of this situation either! I guess it will come when it gets here.

I just we would hear an update from the KOTM team or from Bill Worner.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jessica, thanks for your post. I'm in the same boat as you. Just called and John at CK told me that my order would ship in 4-6 weeks. He said my credit card charge would be taken back and re-charged when the product shipped. Let's just hope they don't totally lose my order between now and then! Post if you get a UPS shipping number (if this blog still exists)! Or e-mail me at special_offers@comcast.net. I can do the same if you want, just to see what timing is like for us.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Michelle-when CK emails you a shipping confirmation it will have a UPS Tracking Number that is a link to UPS site, also there will be a link at the bottom of the email that says-Click here to track your shipment which links you to UPS. If only CK was as efficient as UPS. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I know, my hubbie works for UPS ;-) . . . But thank you for info and I'm just curious if it will be 4 wks for some and 6 wks for others who are told "4-6 weeks".....I guess it's like a soap opera I am now addicted to. HAHA!

  49. You can get a kit on Ebay now! This is making me sick!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I used that email...no response. No response to my two emails to Customer service either about my order. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Jillian-
What is worse than the fact that it's on ebay now is the extremely inflated prices that it's selling for on ebay! Talk about profiting from the fiasco!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Scrappy mommy

Exactly! I tried for hours to get this kit! I will not pay what the sellers are getttin on ebay! its just not right!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Mr. Worner responded to my email with a nice apology. Now all I want is the kit. Please, KOTM "team", just put up a "pre-order" offer for the kit and my life will be complete. Just kidding--but I DO want another chance to get this kit. I am still taking pictures and I'd love to have this nifty little kit to put them into.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Man, I would not want to be Mr. Worner this past week. EEK.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Rondalyn-glad that you got a nice apology. In the email to me it seemed that he was simply sidestepping all of the problems. I was simply told that they hadn't intended to reorder but that he wouldn't rule out an opportunity in the future. In fact there was something about his letter that sounded oddly similar to the messages Scrap In A Snap consultants used to get from Tamme Henry just before the company folded under for good. I hate to say it but it looks like those of us who didn't get a kit are SOL.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I received a kit yesterday (and I wish it had included some assembly directions). I had no idea it was coming. I had a $0 confirmation email from 1/1, then nothing. No shipping email. I did send mr worner an email earlier this week. Got a reply this morning. and basically he said that since i got a kit, i had no reason to be upset. Well, i'm still upset. I'm upset about the whole process, I'm upset that SO MANY other people got totally shafted in this deal, I'm upset to see a kit on ebay for $255! I'm hoping to get it all together tonight, see what all my stress delivered.
I sure do hope that something good happens for all who were screwed in this deal.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Carrie-I think that there's a link from the KOTM page to some directions from Becky in PDF form. Congrats on getting a kit and I'm sorry that the email was so blunt about the fact that you have no reason to be upset.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh and here's a copy of the email I got from Mr Worner, looks like except for the first two sentences the rest is simply a form letter meant to pacify the masses:

Although we had not intended to re-order, I'm not ruling out that an opportunity may not present itself in the future. I'm sorry you didn't get a kit. I wanted to offer a personal comment to everyone, and then expand with the following after taking time to review feedback from all your emails.
It is apparent that many who missed out are very unhappy not to have had the opportunity to order a kit. We aren’t a large company, and our systems obviously don’t accommodate this tremendous response in a brief period of time. As many suggest, the best option for the future seems to be allowing a pre-order period when at all possible. It’s also apparent that making this offer on a holiday is not beneficial. We were not adequately prepared for that reason, and many of you expressed the added burden of missing quality time from family and friends in order to attempt your order. Again, it seems prudent to select our release dates more carefully.
I appreciate the time so many took to voice their concerns, and I have tabulated your responses as a ‘market analysis’ to communicate that information to those who can effect changes to allow our next release to go more smoothly. We deeply regret the oversights that burdened so many of our customers, and will endeavor to make appropriate changes.
We do appreciate your business. It’s exciting to see a new product met with such enthusiasm, and distressing to know that many who missed out, through no fault of their own, are so deeply disappointed.
    With admiration, and regret,
    William Worner

  59. Does anyone know how to add the blinkie to your own blog?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Having an email address to vent to is great for those who actually were able to get a kit...what about addressing those who were shut out? I could go out & get the materials to put together my own kit but I wanted this one because it is going to cost me significantly more to put it together myself & like the majority of the country right now I'm looking to save where I can. And does CK think that this is just going to blow over & people will just stop asking about this fiasco?! No posts since Jan 6...come on there must be something more they can tell us the holidays are over I'm sure they could've gotten in touch with whoever they ordered the kits from to find out if ordering more is a possibility, if they were really interested.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Daisy I think what Mr Worner was trying to get to in his email to me was that they are focusing on future kits now and that IF (big if) the opportunity arises for them to order more of this one they will but that they are focusing on the customers who were able to order and not those of us anxiously awaiting the chance to get our hands on this one. So I guess that those of us who didn't get a kit are not considered customers at this time which will definately influence whether or not I purchase future KOTM's and also whether or not I chose to re-sub to the magazines that I subscribe to from this company (Papercrafts, Simple Scrapbooks and CK) as well as my future purchase of the books that are sold by CK.

    ReplyDelete
  62. scrappymommyof3 - except for the first two sentences, i got the exact same email.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Where is the pre-order for the Feb. or Mar kits?

Bill stated that... "As many suggest, the best option for the future seems to be allowing a pre-order period when at all possible"

The 365 kit proves that there is no telling how many people are going to want the the kits unless you truely do a pre-order. people wouldn't mind waiting for kits as long as they knew they were getting one!

I would love one of these kits! not sure if its going to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  66. This is just insane! Just as I'd come down from all of the drama, just as I had accepted the fact that I was placed on 'backorder', I hear that they don't know if they'll do the kit again! That means that they're not ordering for all of us waiting on back order - let alone the poor people who didn't even get that! They told us 4-6 weeks! How are they going to do that if they haven't even ordered again yet!

  67. I'm so happy right now! I called CK customer service because this blasted 'back-ordered' thing was driving me nuts and nobody was answering my emails to CK CS and Mr. Worner. So, Monday comes and I can call!

John from CS told me that the original 4,000 kits had not all been received from the manufacturer. If you were placed on back-order, you would be getting one of the original 4,000 when CK got their second shipment in to the warehouse.

Therefore, if you are on back-order, you WILL get a kit.

I know it doesn't help all the people who didn't get any kit at all, but for those of us who have been disappointed and confused about 'back-order' status, I thought I'd share. We're getting a kit!

  68. Jessica - I have spoken to John in CS 3 different times on 3 different days last week and he has given me 3 different answers!! Actually, I'm starting to wonder if John is THE only CS Rep at CK!! I am in the "backorder" status with everyone else, however I have been charged for the kit and the $$ has been debited from my Checking account - it is not just on hold - it's gone. John assured me last Thursday that this was an oversight on CK's part and that the $$ was being placed back into my account and that it would be available to me by no later than today!! Guess what?? NO money, No kit, No nothing....I am so disappointed!! I'm relatively sure that I'm NOT getting a kit and I'm NOT getting my $$ back and that really stinks....obviously since John is the only one who answers when I call - I won't be calling back and it seems that emailing that other guy gets you no where too!! I am hoping that I am wrong about all of this, but the outlook does not appear to be great! At least, they shouldn't be collecting $$ from people that they know will NOT be getting a kit....but again John assured me that I am one of the 4000 and that they just didn't have all the kits produced in the warehouse the day the kit went on sale....blah blah blah....it's hard to remain hopeful!!!

  70. Got an email from Mr Wormer and he said the backorder kits should be shipping in mid feb. Hopefully that is true.

  71. Ok - so I gave in a called CK again - and guess what?? Got John AGAIN!!! Didn't even bother to go over anything with him - just asked to speak directly to a supervisor - got Sherry. Super nice and apologetic. She said I am in line, I do have a kit coming, but that I just have to wait for them to arrive. She pushed my refund thru because, as John promised, it was not there YET today!! So, I guess for all of you who are still unsure, maybe you just have to be pushy like I was and ask for a supervisor and hopefully get someone nice like I did!! This makes me feel a little better - but I will definitely think twice before placing an order again!!

  72. My credit card was charged, I got a confirmation number, but alas, not kit yet.... after an unanswered email, I called customer service and she said that mine was actually a backorder and it would arrive the first or second week of February and that they were working on reversing the charge on my credit card. I am thrilled to be getting one, but this has been a very frustrating experience. I have heard of so many people getting two by mistake, being charged for three, etc. etc. I am exhausted by the waiting and wondering. At least now i have an answer of some sort.
I do hope I still get a kit. It is a shame they are selling for over $200 on ebay.
I do appreciate the free download very much so, but I could not get the jpegs to open, just the pdfs.

  73. I just called CK again. And guess who I got?????John!!!! And i asked him if he was the only one working there and he said that there are two others. Then I asked if their names where John too!!!! He says he is the only John there. But I guess our chances of getting John are 1 in 3. So here ismy update. They are working ( always working) on sending out a mass e-mail or something saying something about refunds and then in mid feb they will send out another e-mail with shipping info and a notification saying we will be charged again. So, thats what I got out of my conversation with "John". He seems nice. And I can understand what he is going thru, I have worked at a call center for a bank befor and when things go wrong its crazy!!!!! And you have to learn to just let it go and hope that things get cleared up soon. So thats my 2-cents for the day.
